Site Safety: top tips for businesses

Site safety is one of the most important parts of running a successful business. It’s no secret that construction is one of the most high-risk industries – in fact, out of the 135 workers killed in work-related accidents in 2022/23, 45 of those were in construction.

But it isn’t just construction sites that need to be worried about safety – manufacturing, retail, transport and even general office premises need to be aware about keeping the workplace safe. The Health and Safety Executive will want to see evidence that you’re committed to workplace Health & Safety when
they come to do an inspection, and there can be some hefty consequences if you’re not getting everything right. So how do you go about it?

To help, download our handy checklist so you can cross everything off and make sure you’re staying on top of your legal responsibilities. Simply leave your details to get it sent directly to your inbox.

To help you operate safely, we’ve also got a completed Site Safety Audit Sheet available.
